WHO AM I ?
When I was a kid, I was very interested in comics, TV and movies. Around 11 years old, I began to make some short films and videos. My growing passion for movies and filmmaking made me go to a films school in Paris. In 2005 I got graduated from the International Film School of Paris (EICAR). My graduation film is the historical drama LA DICTEE A DARU.
Then, I directed several Music Videos for such artists as Innerchaos, Julien Fumaz, TANK, S-Project, Hell Of A Ride and more recently Malemort. I also directed some corporates videos, most of them in the motorsport universe. In 2006, I wrote, produced and directed THEY WERE IN NORMANDY. This war/drama short film was well received by the audience and critics. It also got me the recognition from my peers. In 2008, I wrote, produced and directed SURVIVANT(S). This action/survival short film was released on DVD in September 2010 by Oh My Gore ! Distribution. Selected in several festivals, the film earned critical success as well as support and recognition from the audience and the industry.
In 2011, I moved to Toronto to shoot my first feature film. Starring Louis Mandylor (THE QUEST, NASH BRIDGES, MARTIAL LAW, MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING, CSI, NCIS, SINNERS & SAINTS…) TENSION(S) is an action thriller written and produced by François Méquer & Sean Moussavi (Ice Angel Pictures). TENSION(S) has been sold in several countries, and it has been released in North America on FlixPremiere.com (August 26th, 2016).
More recently, I directed several TV spots to promote TV shows & programs mostly for 6Ter (M6 Group) and France Television. One of these spot, NORBERT COMMIS D’OFFICE – SEASON 2 TEASER won a GOLD AWARD in the “Leisure and Lifestyle programme spot” category at the PromaxBDA Europe Awards 2016 in Barcelona !
Meanwhile, I’m developing a new SURVIVORS project which is a reimagination of my 2010 short SURVIVANT(S) and I’m attached to several feature projects… Among them, an action mystery sci-fi thriller : ZONE MORTE, and a horror survival : LES RUINES DE TINDAYA !
The story keeps going…
